Keep your eyes on the PRIZE!

God never said our walk with Him would be easy,
He never said our faith would not be put to the test!
He did say, “Come to me, for my burden is easy
and my yolk is light. Come to me and I will give you rest!
Yes, in Christ we will have times of rejoicing and jubilation,
But its during times of trial and temptation
that our faith in Him will grow strong!
And even though the night and hard times may seem long
In the morning there will be gladness
For He will comfort our tears of sadness
We all know hard times may come with out warning,
But we will trust in HIs goodness and from Him we won’t be turning
I will remember that the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases
His mercies never come to an end, for they are new every morning.
Yes, these are the lessons we keep on learning!
”Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father? If you are not disciplined—and everyone undergoes discipline—then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all. Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live! They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.” Hebrews 12:7-11
