Styling A Bikini
Choosing a bikini from the enormous pile can sometimes be stressful. You don’t want to wear the same one you did yesterday or even the same color for that matter. If you’re anything like me, you’ll buy a new bikini whether you have a ton or even just bought a new one yesterday. There’s something about buying new bikinis each summer that brings me so much joy.
Unlike most people, there are days where I simply cannot wear just any old swimsuit. I need to add something to it or make it different from any other ordinary day. If you feel like you need a little extra pizazz, I’m here to tell you how to spice up your swimsuits with a wide range of accessories!
Adding jewelry when wearing a bikini can be annoying if you’re all about swimming. However, if you only like to tan, you might as well look good doing it. Adding anything from hoop earrings to chunky necklaces can really make a difference. Pick the tone of the piece based on your personal preference as well as the style and color of the bikini.
If you’re going for the rich and famous look add a big sunhat. This can take your look from drab to fab especially when taking photos. Try to color coordinate the whole look, sun hats come in a wide array of colors and styles... And as the south says the bigger the better.
Everyone should have a great pair of sunnies. Picking your boldest pair whether they're a crazy color or the size of your face, it can take your basic bikini to the next level. They don’t even have to be expensive. If you style anything right it can make a $5 dollar pair look like they’re $500. My favorite sunnies come from Quay or Sunglass Hut.
If you’re going to put this effort in to style your bikini, make sure you take some great photos! Whether it's for your memories or instagram, it’s great to have photos! Don’t be afraid to channel your inner influencer and have your own mini photoshoot.
